The goal of the training was to further the translators’ understanding of CAT tools ( Trados) and for them to maximize the translation output in terms of quality and quantity.
SDL Trados software provides one integrated environment for all your translation, terminology, review and project management needs.  SDL Trados Studio 2009 unleashes the power of the new RevleX™ translation memory engine. With groundbreaking new features and an open, standards-based platform, it significantly enhances productivity and maximizes performance throughout the translation supply chain.
Ms. Leena Satpute, a certified Trainer from Fidel and an experienced Japanese language translator, led the training with the help of Mr. Tarun Agarwal, a senior French language translator.
Translators worked simultaneously on live software to get practical experience. Using this method, the participants were able to develop skills to get tech savvy and, most importantly, to understand the software functionary in depth and immediately imply it. With this they were encouraged to start translating by using Trados.
