FICCI\u2019s 1st Marathi Conclave held in Pune on 6th May 2019.<\/p>\n
The purpose of this conference was to focus on \u2018Increasing demand of Indian local languages on Internet as well as issues & challenges of Indic languages\u2019.<\/p>\n
The conclave was attended by Senior Director of C-DAC \u2013 Mr. M.D Kulkarni, Rajya Marathi Vikas Sanstha (RMVS) Chief \u2013 Mr. Anand Katikar, FICCI-ILIA Chief \u2013 Sarika Gulyani addressed to the Conclave.<\/p>\n
\u201cOnly 20% of Indians are familiar with English language where as 80% of population still depends on their native languages. Most of the internet data is available in English. In future, localization of internet will become a booming industry\u201d Dr Ajay Data of Chief of Xgen added his views.<\/p>\n
Fidel & LinguaSol also actively participated in FICCI\u2019s (Fedration of Indian Chamber Of Commerce & Industry) 1st Marathi Conclave in Pune. Fidel Group CEO \u2013 Sunil Kulkarni, CTO \u2013 Rajeevlochan Phadke, COO \u2013 Mandar Inamdar, Marathi Linguist \u2013 Sampada Padhye were present.<\/p>\n
In the discussion session of \u201cChallenges of Indian languages\u201d Mr. Rajeevlochan Phadke, CTO of Linguasol, gave brief on the Issues & challenges of using Indic fonts. Editor of Sakal \u2013 Mr. Samrat Phadnis, Sr. Editor of Pratham Books \u2013 Mrs. Sandhya Taksale, Mr. Vishwas Sirmukadam of MCCIA, Principol (Deccan college) \u2013 Mrs. Sonal Kulkarni, CTO of Sarthi portal \u2013 Mr. Sangram Sabat and Translator \u2013 Mrs. Lalita Marathe also participated in a discussion session.[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.23.1″ _module_preset=”default” header_text_color=”#000000″ custom_padding=”25px||25px||true|false” locked=”off” global_colors_info=”{}”]Ref.
